Hummingbird delights

November 22, 2011

I am back after a lovely holiday in Tenerife. We literally did nothing but lay by the pool, eat and drink cocktails- it was gorgeous. Can't go wrong with the Canary Islands for the winter sun. We stayed here and although it was quite remote (wouldn't recommend if you like to do lots on your holiday, unless you rent a car) it was perfect for what we wanted. I've never been on holiday so late in the year but it's given me a great boost as the weather gets colder.

Whilst away I thought of lots of blog ideas and will get posting soon. To get back in the swing of it I just wanted to do a little update and share some lovely photos of a Red Velvet Cupcake from The Hummingbird Bakery. I have never been to the Hummingbird Bakery before this evening- I own both of the cookbooks and highly recommend them so was very excited to see it as we walked to the tube station from at Busaba.

Yum!

I've never tried the hummingbird bakery either, although a friend sent me the recipe book for my birthday, so I have tried a couple of the recipes and they all look amazing!
