Stylist Magazine

December 06, 2011

I used to be really addicted to magazines- I subscribed to Marie Claire, Glamour, Cosmo and Company. I would also buy Heat, More and Elle. I would excitedly buy them as soon as they came onto the shelves and read them cover to cover.

I've calmed down my magazine addiction these days. I'm getting a Glamour subscription for Christmas and I admit to buying Heat and others on the odd occasion but I no longer have stacks magazines building up in my bedroom.

If you live in a big city and commute to work it's likely that you'll have come across Stylist Magazine. It's a free weekly magazine that is handed out near train stations and it is something I look forward to reading every week- I no longer walk past where the Stylist magazines are handed out near Vauxhall but go out of my way to get one.

The magazine is full of content and has a perfect mix of beauty, fashion and lifestyle. They have lots of 'special' themed issues too- the issue this week is edited by Nigella Lawson and has lots of recipes included.

Stylist has quickly gained a fantastic reputation and it's great to see how its growing. You can also read all of their back issues on their website which is a brilliant feature- also very worth just bookmarking their site in general as it is packed with interesting stuff.

I know this sounds a bit gushy but I just wanted to write a little post praising such a great magazine.

Do you read Stylist?

  1. Never heard about this magazine... I'm also subscribed at different magazines: Elle, Elle Decor, Glamour, Allure, Coastal Living, Marie Claire, Harper's BAZAAR, and Architectural Digest...I think that's all :).

  5. I don't normally read magazines any more, but there always seems to be a copy of this in the common room at uni. I'll have to start flicking through it :)
