Review: Soap & Glory Peaches and Clean Cleansing Milk

August 21, 2012

Product

Soap & Glory Peaches and Clean 4-in-1 Wash-Off Deep Cleansing Milk

Price

£7

What does it claim to do?

"Our special clogged T-zone formula Includes peach extract (with skin smoothing fruit acids), quillaja bark (a gentle natural ‘soap’), jojoba oil (an emollient skin softener), Detoxyboost™ technology (to help purify and deep clean) and Poreshrink R2™ (for a clearer, fresher, brighter complexion). In our opinion it’s the best cleansing milk on the market!" - Soap & Glory

What do I think?

I absolutely adore Soap & Glory- it is one of my favourite choice for body products. I just love the scents of their products and they always do the job so well. I needed a new cleanser and had heard good things about the Peaches and Clean- it took me a while to find a Boots which stocked it (which always makes me want it so much more!) so was very happy to finally get my hands on it.

I use this cleanser as the second part of removing my make-up. I use Bioderma Crealine to remove most of it and then this as a second face wash. I want to say that I love this cleanser but sadly, I don't. I have been using two pumps of this and massage into dry skin before rinsing off with warm water. I like the texture of it and it makes my skin feel clean and fresh after- it is just the scent which I'm really not a fan of.

My favourite skincare products are (currently) the Bioderma Crealine, Embroylisse moisturiser and Liz Earle's Cleanse & Polish- all of these products are unscented, or with a very light scent. The Peaches and Clean has a very fruity, peachy scent so if you like that kinda thing you will love it. It's just too much for me and I really don't get on with it!

Would I re-purchase?
I am going to carry on using the cleanser as it does the job but won't be repurchasing

  1. Pity about the scent - I think I prefer fruity scents in body products but anything on the face I like to be pretty unscented...mainly because I have v sensitive skin!

  3. I've been meaning to try this and your clear review has just given me a reminder. Normally I don't like scented face products but I've been liking the Neutrogena pink grapefruit wash. :) x
