August Favourites: My Top Three

♥ L'Oreal Miss Candy Color Riche Nail Polishes* - I am hoping that I have finally kicked the habit of nail biting. I've had the horrible habit of biting/picking my nails for most of my life and have been determined to stop it. For anyone trying to stop I'd advise painting your nails constantly in pretty colours as that's been the main thing that has stopped me from picking at them- also, if I get fidgeting I just peel the nail polish off instead! If I don't have much time I will just apply a clear polish to make them look nice.

Anyway, after going off on that tangent I have to rave about these nail varnishes. They are amazing! These are the 4 colours that I have been loving- Opera Ballerina 101; Sassy Pink 213; Dating Coral 305 and French Riviera 601. They are so easy to apply- the brush is a perfect size and Sassy Pink and Dating Coral only require one coat.

♥ Liz Earle Superskin Moisturiser - my beloved Embroylisse has now run out however I'm not too sad as I absolutely love this LE moisturiser. This is a rich, luxurious moisturiser which is fragrance free and sinks into the skin really easily. I just love applying this and can really feel and see the benefits

♥ Organic Surge Daily Care Face Wash* - as I am not a massive fan of my current cleanser (still love you Soap & Glory!) I was very happy to be sent the Organic Surge cleanser. I realised when I received it that I actually tried it back in 2010 and wrote a full review. In my post I was reluctant to try a new cleanser and so left the review mostly to Chris, however this time around I am loving it! I love how it lathers up on the face and makes my skin feel after using it.

  2. I peel off my nail varnish and used to be a terrible nail biter! Never linked the two but thankfully I seemed to have kicked the habit too. I love the French Riviera shade.

  4. I've used that cleanser before & I really like it, but what ultimately put me off was it was really strongly scented & I felt like that much scent couldn't be good for my skin :/ if they toned it down a bit I would probably use it again x
