Review: Liz Earle Signature Foundation

September 28, 2012

Liz Earle Signature Foundation*

What does it claim to do?

"Our silky formula offers easy-to-build coverage and glides on easily to give a smooth, radiant finish and an even, natural-looking complexion. Beautifully buildable and blendable, with a special mix of spherical particles and coated pigments that offer long-lasting colour. Enriched with our own natural source vitamin E." - Liz Earle

What do I think?

So prepare for a rave- I officially love this foundation. I am a huge fan of the Liz Earle skincare but nothing from the make-up range has amazed me (although I do really like the bronzer) and I wasn't a huge fan of the Sheer Skin Tint. However this is a product that has really wow-ed me.

Firstly I like the bottle- it looks nice on my dressing table and is the classic Liz Earle look that we have become accustomed to. Although the pump could be criticised as looking a bit cheap (if it was the same colour as the lid it'd be perfect) I'm not complaining because it's a pump which is ever so handy!

Onto the product itself, I received this foundation in the shade 02 Ivory (there are 9 shades in total) and is probably the best colour match I've ever found in a foundation. The consistency is quite thick and you really don't need much to cover your face- one pump is more than enough however when I've put too much on I find it can still be worked into the skin without looking cakey. It blends easily and leaves an absolutely beautiful finish- it's dewy but not at all oily. I'd compare it to the finish of my Vitalumiere Aqua and the Rimmel Wake Me Up Foundation.

So yes, that's the end of my product rave. In a nutshell- love this!

Would I re-purchase?
