Love Me Beauty: An Exciting Transformation

September 23, 2014
So the box from Love Me Beauty* looks a little different this month (see some of their previous boxes here and here). This is because they have been going through a very exciting transformation and this month have launched their spangly website platform which introduces a new concept of beauty boxes.

Love Me Beauty has always been different to the usual beauty box where you have no idea what you will be receive each month- you have been able to pick between three different menus. However now it is up to you to decide completely on what products you will be getting.

Every month, members will have six credits allowing them to choose from a range of tailored products (based on your preferences in a survey when you sign up)- however if you just want to choose from everything that is on offer you can do that too. You can also add more products beyond these subscription credits if you fancy paying for an extra treat.

Love Me Beauty are providing members with a really unique and individual beauty box experience where you are a receiving a box of treats curated for you, and by you. It's pretty good.

I signed up on the website and found each step very straighforward. I filled out a survey with my preferences (eg. favourite types of products, skin type etc.) and then went on to choose my products with my 6 credits. I chose the following three products which were 2 credits each- I presume that the 2 credit products are full size and/or a more premium product- the products below are all full size.

Percy & Reed Lovingly Light Foaming Mask Treatment (RRP £20) - this is a rich, lightweight mousse rather than a cream so it won't weight your hair down. You simply work into your hair after shampooing, rinse it out and it repairs, nourishes, moisturises and adds volume. It's a full size product and I chose it because I love a hair mask and this sounds intriguing!

Oriflame Skin Dream BB Cream (RRP  £10.95) - this is a standard BB cream, an all-in-one solution which fuses make-up, skincare and SPF. It works to conceal, reduce appearance of pores and hydrate whilst giving you a dewy, flawless look. I haven't used any products from Oriflame before but I always enjoy a BB cream- especially when the word 'dewy' is in the description!

Malin+Goetz Mojito Lip Balm (RRP £10) - I couldn't not pick a lip balm with a Mojito scent- it's amazing! It's a hydrating lip balm which aims to help dry and irritated lips. The scent is lovely and it feels really moisturising too which is exactly what you want from a lip balm!

I really really like this new concept from Love Me Beauty- even though I have received a smaller number products than usual, they are all products that I know I will use which makes the box way more worthwhile.

You can sign up and explore the new platform for yourself at www.lovemebeauty.com. Subscriptions cost £10 a month plus £3.95 P&P and get cheaper based on how long you take out a subscription for.
